Reaction:
I think thats mest up. People should have the right to have as many children as they want and what if they want two girls. Or what if they can't handle more than one child? What happens if they don't want any children? Do they have to get them by forse? But what if one of them die can they get another child or is that it only two and no more children?

Reaction:
How did he know ahead of time? That's cool though knowing what your going to be. At least he could prepar so he won't make many mistakes in his job. What will happen if they got something they didn't want? But i doubt they'll pick something you don't want well at least maybe not all the time.

O.k....maybe he is going crazy or he has a super powers!!!!!! But how can he see something different if the apple didn't really change? If that ever happened to me i would freak out and run around in circles screaming well not really but i would actually go ask my parents for advice or help. Or maybe he just imagined it or he was day dreaming like i do most of the time.

I wonder where do they actually send them. Do they send them in the wild? Or do they erase thier memories? Or maybe they send them to a place called "The Old People Villa". WOAH!!!!!!!! Pills?!?! That's freaky...i can't believe peple can't have touchy romance. When i have a child i want it to be my own with my blood flowing throw it's viens. That way i can call it my own and say i made it with my own hands well not really but still. I get why they give it to teens and pre-teens but adults that just isn't thier discision.

Oh!!!! That's really but really mest up!!!!! It's just not right replacing people like that if like they were just objects. They could at least called her Caleb the second or Caleb jr. I can't believe nobody cared didn't they even think that it what if they replaced them, they wouldn't like it. If they ever replaced me i would be crushed, i wouldn't like it one bit.

That's sad but i wonder why they don't like talking about it? I can see that it might make them bring sad memories, but why can't they talk about. I'm getting confused....But i guess she couldn't handle it. But why do they need recievers why can't they just give a little bit of memory to each of the people to hang on to? But what did happen to her?

I can imagine what might be in the books. But i wonder why they keep them hidden from the rest of the people? Do they think it might be chaotic or maybe they don't like people to be creative, that would be a problem with me. But i would have been amazed too if i have seen this for the very first time. I guess he must be consitered lucky.

I have only seen snow one time when i went to Lake Tahoe. But that must be unluckey not to have snow or sleds, but hills?!?!?!?! That is just wierd. Or maybe they don't have snow because of the type of weather like where we live it never snows here.

I agree they shouldn't have tooken away all of those wonderful things! Well yeah they might be troubling sometimes but isn't life suppose to be about taking risks you know live a little. GOSH!!! They are just to safe. If you never take risks then you will never get what you want and you'll also never get the feeling of excitement when you work hard at something and then see yourself improve until you get where you wanted to be and then work harder and surpass your expectations.

Well i guess that's right but if they never make mistakes how will they ever learn. It's like when parents shield thier children from the world and care for them for every little thing until they get old and they just throw them out. They won't know what to do because they use to be so protected shielded from pain, sorrow, and to sum it all up easy they were shielded from the real world they only saw a fantasy world where everything is so peaceful and everybody is really nice.

WOAH!?!?!?!?!?! Everybody looks the same!!!! That's not right...I that ever happened to me i would just take off my ribbons and wear them as bracelets. I would also rip off the sleeves of my sweater and make it into a vest. Oh, and the most important thing is that i would get some sciscers and cut my hair into layers!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I would stand out from everybody else.

DANG!!! That's the first time he ever opaligized to Jonas..I guess the giver does actually care about his student.well he is a very nice person way... better than the other people who live in the community. Jonas is very lucky to have someone that actually cares about him.

Thats' pretty harsh. At least they would be cared for, right. Or maybe it's not worth it. Im getting confused again. But i think they still would be part of his life but just in heaven though.

Reaction:
That's not right!!!!!!!!! He just talks to him like that like if it was nothing!!! I feel like just UGH!!!!!!! He killed it and just said "Bye-bye" like if he doesn't care. Who is so cold hearted killing an inoscent baby like that.

When i read this i was so mad i couldn't believe that they wuld kill an inasent child just because they thought it would be confusing!!! Then they just toss the body like a piece of trash. Oh, and also he killed the pore thing like if it was nothing he just went "Bye bye little guy". I felt like just smacking Jonas' dad and telling him how can he kill the child how would you like it if they killed you just because you had a twin. But isn't that what they wanted, everything to look the same but finally something does look the same and they kill it. I use to think the community did the right discesions and thought stuff through but know i think they are the worst community ever!!!!! D=<
